How to use this.
These are Lash Lab's professional policies as a starting template. Swap in your own deposit amount, notice window, contact info, and address, then have every client read and sign them at the first appointment.
Pre-Appointment
- A deposit (Lash Lab uses 50%) is required, non-refundable and non-transferable. If you don't attend, the remaining balance is also charged.
- Clients must read the policies and check that they've read them before paying the deposit.
Cancellation & Reschedule
- You are responsible for booking, canceling, and showing up to your own appointments.
- Communicate a cancellation or reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice so the provider can fill the spot.
- Less than 48 hours' notice is charged the full service cost.
- No-shows are charged the entire service cost.
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late may cancel the appointment and be treated as a no-show/late cancellation.
- No call / no show forfeits the deposit.
Premature Lash Shedding
- Communicate within 48 hours of the original appointment if there's premature shedding, so your provider can assess and fix it.
- Losing 3โ5 natural lashes per day is normal shedding.
- Seasonal changes can cause shedding that may look premature.
Respect
- A drama-free, classy environment is a priority โ communicate respectfully with all providers and patrons.
- One complimentary lash cleanser kit is provided; follow the aftercare guidelines.
- No unannounced visits โ only come for your scheduled appointment, so current clients get undivided attention.
- Well-behaved children are welcome, best for fills (full sets can take up to 3 hours).
How to Show Up
- Arrive on time and text your provider when you've arrived.
- Use the restroom before your appointment.
- Wait at the designated spot until you're invited to the lash recliner.
- Arrive with freshly washed lashes and no makeup.
Aftercare Tips
The No-No list: no Heat, Oil, or Salt (HOS). Heat includes stoves, hot yoga, steam showers, saunas. Oil includes facial and hair products and natural build-up. Salt includes crying and chlorine. Don't pick, tug, or pull extensions, and don't sleep on your face.
How to care: wash lashes daily and rinse twice daily; if heat/oil/salt gets in, wash and rinse immediately; fan dry and brush with a wand to re-fluff; book fills a few weeks out; sleep on your back or side.
